About his Personal life:
Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad is the birth name of Chiranjeevi. He was born in Mogalthuru, a small village in West Godavari district. He used to stay with his grandparents. His father is a constable who used to be on regular transfers. His mother Anjana Devi a housewife.
Chiranjeevi has two younger brothers. One is Nagendra Babu who is a film producer and actor. The other is Pawan Kalyan who is a popular actor in Tollywood. And now Pawan Kalyan is the founder of Janasena’s political party.
On February 20, 1980, Chiranjeevi got married to Surekha who is the daughter of famous Telugu comedy actor Allu Ramalingaiah. They have two daughters Sushmita and Srija, and a son Ram Charan who is also an actor in Tollywood.
He is also uncle of Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, and Niharika.

Chiranjeevi started his career in Tollywood in the year 1978. He changed his screen name to Chiranjeevi as his family worships God Anjaneya a lot.
Early Career in the film industry:
- Chiranjeevi made his debut acting in the film Punadhirallu, though it wasn’t released as his first film. However, his film Pranam Khareedu was released as his first film.
- He got well-recognized with the film Mana Voori Pandavulu which is directed by Bapu.
- In his early career, he acted in more number of films. Even if it was a small cameo he used to act.
- Avargal is a Tamil movie which had a remake in Telugu in the year 1979. Chiranjeevi portrayed the character which was played by Rajinikanth in the original movie.

Political Career of Chiranjeevi:
In 2008, Chiranjeevi founded the Praja Rajyam Party in the state of Andhra Pradesh. In the 2009 elections, his party won 18 of the 295 seats in the Assembly. Chiranjeevi was elected as a member of the state assembly from Tirupati.
, On 6 February 2011, Chiranjeevi merged the 30-month-old Praja Rajyam Party with the Indian National Congress.
Also, in October 2012, he was appointed as a Union Minister of State, Ministry of Tourism.
Social Welfare Programs by Chiranjeevi:
- In October 1998, Chiranjeevi started the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT) which includes Chiranjeevi Eye Bank and Blood Bank.

- Also, CCT has won the “Best Voluntary Blood Bank Award” by the AP State Government for more than 4 years.
